Héctor Almeida (Güines, Cuba, 1995) is a filmmaker, editor and actor. He made the documentary short "Para Esteban", which explores family memory and intimacy and won the Funespaña Award at the “Visualízame en tu memoria” International Film Festival. He has worked for the TV channels Canal Habana, Cubavisión, Canal Nexos and teleSUR. He is currently working on his first feature, ‘La Película de Héctor’.
