Boy Princess
(Nico Mascarenhas, São Paulo, 1993) is a trans non-binary visual artist, researcher and filmmaker from São Paulo (BR). Their practice spans video, photography, installation and performance, investigating the limits of memory and gender identity while expanding the spatial and symbolic agreements that shape social rituals and transitions. Rooted in questioning representational structures and cinematic conventions, their research explores how bootleg aesthetics can subvert hegemonic narratives and displace predetermined meanings and objects.
