Ana Clara Bustelo

(San Juan, Argentina, 1995) is a screenwriter and film director. She is obsessed with horses, concerned about childhoods, and loves the heat. Her work explores her own territory, San Juan, from an intimate perspective centered on what is broken: margins, disability, dissidence and diverse identities. She holds a master's in screenwriting and a degree in Film and Television, and has developed projects supported by INCAA, FNA, Ventana Sur, the European Union, the Málaga Film Festival and the Mar del Plata Film Festival. She is about to premiere her first feature, El agua nunca dolió (an Argentina–Uruguay–Spain co-production), a coming-of-age story about silence and faith within a family facing an accident that changes everything.
