— Bien, ¿y tú?
— Eh. He estado mejor... No, temas. ¿Cómo estás? ¿Todo bien?
El cuerpo decide antes que yo.
"Quizás no me quería levantar de la cama."
La tristeza suena distinto cuando alguien más la dice.
Y pues grabo. Que para eso estamos aquí.
Igual y lo borro después.
No todo tiene que significar algo.
Su cara no está nítida. Pero su voz sí.
Está bien. Con eso tenemos.
A veces muevo la cámara para disimular que necesito moverme yo.
Movimiento mínimo, pero movimiento al fin.
¿Y si la cámara también se cansa?
Tal vez por eso tiembla.
Me puedo mover.
No es una afirmación.
Es un deseo. /

My body decides before I do.
“Maybe I didn't want to get out of bed.”
Sadness sounds different when someone else says it.
And so I record it. That's why we're here.
I'll delete it later.
Not everything has to mean something.
His face isn't clear. But his voice is.
That's okay. That's what we have.
Sometimes I move the camera to hide the fact that I need to move myself.
Minimal movement, but movement nonetheless.
What if the camera gets tired too?
Maybe that's why it shakes.
I can move.
It's not a statement.
It's a wish.
Alberto Muñoz (León, México, 1987) es artista audiovisual. Con estudios en Diseño Gráfico por la Universidad Iberoamericana y Estudios Cinematográficos por la Universidad de Guadalajara, su trabajo abarca el arte digital, el videoarte, la videoinstalación, el fashion film y el cine experimental. Su más reciente cortometraje El Legrado Exquisito, colaboración con @kapax.sound, fue producido con el apoyo de la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México a través de la Cátedra Ingmar Bergman en cine y teatro, y participó en festivales como DocsMX y el Festival Internacional de Cine de Guanajuato GIFF. / Alberto Muñoz (León, Mexico, 1987) is an audiovisual artist. With studies in Graphic Design from the Universidad Iberoamericana and Film Studies from the Universidad de Guadalajara, his work encompasses digital art, video art, video installation, fashion film, and experimental cinema. His most recent short film, El Legrado Exquisito, a collaboration with @kapax.sound, was produced with the support of the National Autonomous University of Mexico through the Ingmar Bergman Chair in Film and Theater, and participated in festivals such as DocsMX and the Guanajuato International Film Festival (GIFF).
