La textura de tu voz. ¿qué es la intimidad? El riesgo de los vínculos. ¿qué estoy mirando? ¿cómo estoy mirando? ¿Cómo suena un cuerpo? “Eso los adultos no lo hacen”
El cuerpo como un archivo. La idea es enemiga de la creación. Las ideas son traidoras a la hora de crear. / When did this world mistreat us in the way it evaluates us? Are you performing right now? The emotion in the body that only happens while we film. The texture of your voice. What is intimacy? The risk of bonds. What am I looking at? How am I looking? How does a body sound? “Adults don't do that.” The body as an archive. The idea is the enemy of creation. Ideas are traitors when it comes to creating.
Gaspar Iwaniura Lorge (Buenos Aires, Argentina, 1985) es artista y diseñador. Utiliza fotografías y escaneos como material para producir sus obras. Se formó en fotografía en talleres y clínicas de distintxs artistas argentixs. En 2021 fue becario del programa de artistas PAC FOTX de la Galería Gachi Prieto. Desde 2020 coordina KOLOR, un laboratorio dedicado a la reproducción analógica de fotografías color. Su investigación actual traza un puente entre la fotografía y la pintura abstracta con filiaciones en los trabajos de Moholy-Nagy, Joseph Albers y Hiroshi Sugimoto. Parte de esta investigación puede verse en la exposición "En el principio fue la magia" (CCK, Buenos Aires, 2024-2025). / Gaspar Iwaniura Lorge (Buenos Aires, Argentina, 1985) is an artist and designer. He uses photographs and scans as material to produce his works. He trained in photography in workshops and clinics with various Argentine artists. In 2021, he was a fellow in the PAC FOTX artist program at the Gachi Prieto Gallery. Since 2020, he has coordinated KOLOR, a laboratory dedicated to the analog reproduction of color photographs. His current research bridges photography and abstract painting, drawing on the work of Moholy-Nagy, Joseph Albers, and Hiroshi Sugimoto. Part of this research can be seen in the exhibition “In the Beginning Was Magic” (CCK, Buenos Aires, 2024-2025).
